Art in Science

The “Art in Science” (AIS) project was launched in 2016, as an internal initiative to the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. The AIS receives and publishes the artwork contributed by students and faculty as a product of their research. AIS submissions range from images derived from experimental and computational work or data analytics, to 3-D artifacts, and clips.

The 2021 Triangle Soft Matter Symposium is the perfect occasion to host and celebrate the art contributed by the Soft Matter Community of the research triangle. Submissions will be printed on photographic paper and showcased at the Triangle Soft Matter Symposium. Artwork will be judged by the public with judging forms distributed at the Symposium.
